Summer is my absolute favorite time of year! It’s the perfect time for making memories with little ones and what better way to do so than with books. On this list, I’ve included a variety of books that range from timeless classics to books addressing important social-emotional concepts.
The goals is for each book on the list to spark a love of reading and to create some meaningful reading memories over the summer. Picture books are such wonderful literacy tools for all ages, as they include a range of vocabulary and topics that even more independent readers can benefit from.
