Mother’s Day is the perfect time to show mamas appreciation for all that they do.
Below are a few suggestions that can help to help make this Mother’s Day perfect for the special mama in your life!
Sleep
Glorious sleep! How amazing would it feel to not be woken up by a toddler climbing into bed or having breakfast repeatedly thrown on the floor all before 7AM? Maybe checking into a hotel for a night may be in order?
Wine
Let’s face it, a glass of wine helps busy moms wind down after a busy day of battling nap strikes and toddler tantrums! To help get into relaxation mode, have you checked out Speak Wines? They have a collection of wines with hilarious labels like “the juggle is real” and “couldn’t find a sitter”. Even better, they work with organizations that give back to mothers and children in need!
Alone Time
Time to use the bathroom in peace and quiet without a toddler trying to sit on your lap while you pee, or pulling on your leg screaming “mommy” would be absolutely amazing. It would also be wonderful to sit in complete silence to read a book, a trashy magazine or catch up on that Netflix series you’ve been dying to watch!
Bubble Bath
A quiet bubble bath ALONE with candles, music, and a glass of wine would be divine. Check out this this wine caddy that even suctions to the bathtub!
Spa Day
A day to relax and recharge is something that every mom loves because who doesn’t like to be pampered? Add in some mom friends and mimosas and it’s a perfect day!
Daddy on Duty
This means daddy takes on the routine for the day from sunrise to sunset. Daddy changes poopy diapers, tackles potty training, washes dishes, prepares meals/snacks, plans activities, cleans the house, and tackles(endless) loads of laundry.
Starbucks
A Starbucks fix is always part of a busy mama’s day, but on Mother’s Day it’s always fun to treat yourself to your favorite (high calorie drink). Frappuccino Happy Hour anyone?
Solo Exercise
Start the day “tappin’ it back”at a cycling class or a little hot yoga to sweat it out! Find a few girlfriends and grab a cold smoothie afterwards, or a glass of rose to really make it a dynamite morning! Better yet, grab your fur-baby and take a long walk outside while listening to a favorite podcast.

Happy Mother’s Day! Thanks for the feedback. Sleep is definitely at the top of my list, too!
Wow! This is like EXACTLY my wish list! Funny story about the Starbucks…my husband and I were going to sneak out to Starbucks for a quick date last Friday, but my daughter decided to bring home a whole colony of lice instead. #momlife! We’ve still got Starbucks in our sights though…there’s still hope!
